RRA Group Inc. is a North American freight forwarding partner built for companies that need accountable execution across international freight, in-house customs clearance, warehousing, trucking support, and Canada-US logistics. Our home base is Surrey, BC, at the Port of Vancouver gateway.
Built One Load at a Time
RRA began in 2013 as a trucking company, moving freight one load, one relationship, one delivery at a time. In 2019, Gursewak Sran acquired the company, then a single truck, and set about rebuilding it with the systems mindset of his IT years. Running trucks meant sitting on the other side of the table from freight forwarders and customs brokers every day, watching shipments stall over a missed document, a slow broker, or a handoff nobody owned. We saw the gap from the inside, because we were the ones waiting in it.
So we started closing it. The US freight brokerage came first, in 2022: RRA Group Inc. in Bellingham, planning moves instead of just hauling other companies' cargo. Freight forwarding followed in Canada in 2024, extending our reach beyond our own trucks. Warehousing came next, for freight that's cleared and trucked but still needs somewhere to go. The last piece was customs: in 2025, we brought customs clearance in-house, closing the loop for good.
And in 2026, RRA Group Inc. became an IATA Cargo Agent: the recognized standard behind the air-freight side of everything we'd built, and the newest chapter of a company that started with one truck.
Thirteen years later, that same instinct still drives RRA: don't just move freight; own the outcome.

RRA's team works remotely across Canada, the United States, India, and Pakistan, spread across time zones so a shipment question doesn't sit overnight waiting for the next business day.
Leadership
Gursewak Sran came to logistics from technology, with prior IT experience at IBM and the BC provincial government. After acquiring RRA Trucking in 2019, he rebuilt it from a single-truck operation into a broader logistics group: Canadian freight forwarding, in-house customs clearance, warehousing, and US-side freight brokerage. His approach is shaped by discipline and long-term execution as an endurance athlete off the clock, reflected in how RRA runs freight for its customers.
